Sarah will be sharing her experiences and advice after 20 years in tech as a minority female, shifting careers midway through. Sometimes the path to that perfect career is not always clear but there are multiple ways to find your passion and do what you love. It is never too late to take risks and make changes. Sarah will discuss things to consider and approaches to overcoming obstacles.
About the presenter:
Sarah is a native to the Seattle area and holds a Bachelor's degree in Product Design Engineering from Stanford University. She has worked 20+ years in tech in the automotive, telecommunications, aerospace, medical and now Gaming industries. She currently serves as a Senior Program Manager at Microsoft for the Gaming for Everyone group driving intentional inclusion across all areas of gaming. As a minority female in tech, she has a passion for bringing more women and youth from underrepresented communities into the area of technology.
